Required Items
- Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolors Compact Set (or other compact pan set)
- Pencil (2)
- Kneaded eraser (1)
- (1) 7″ x 10″ block of watercolor paper 100% cotton, Yup, I am finally recommending to use only 100% cotton paper. We will be out in the field, so not having to fuss with issues of cellulose papers will make your painting experience easier.
- (1) Sketchbook, use one you already have
- Waterproof pen (like a Sakura Micron Pen, size 05)
- Size 4 watercolor paintbrush (1) or use a brush you got in a paint set
- Flat 1/2″ or larger watercolor paintbrush (1)
Additional Items, needed but not purchased
- Clean rag or paper towels
- Vessel for water (water bottle or mason jar)
- (Optional) extra water holder (metal cup or plastic cup for easy access)
- (Optional) Small pencil case to hold smaller items
