I want readers and viewers to engage with the story. I want to spark the imagination of a reader further, so they may create as well.
Either through designing the layout of a painting, illustration, or web page, I want to create a piece that a user can quickly understand, feel good with it, and share with others.
When I teach, it’s more than just giving instructions on a technique. I work with you on elements that you like or don’t like. We talk about what’s working and not working. Doing evaluations a critiques are what help student artists move from just moving a pencil or a brush to grow into the artist they want to be.
