In our first lesson we learned the 3-minute sketch method. We get our first thoughts on the page, they may not be 100% correct, but there are no wrong marks, so they are great for getting in the ballpark!
Lesson two we get our initial thoughts on the values we see in our scene. It’s not about getting perfect values, but getting down a first round of value of white, grey, and black.
For today, we are going to explore how shape and value work together, and where they meet… on edges.
